A2 was born out of a love for the industry and the desire to provide a homey, uplifting, and serene environment for local hair and nail artists. Hi! I’m April, our founder, and I have worked both behind the chair and as an educator. After working in local salons as well as opening my own in-home salon, I knew my dream was to one day offer the community something MORE.

So, in early 2025, my husband Adam and I got to work! We found the perfect location and, with the support and help of family and friends, began the task of remodeling, painting, hunting down equipment, and turned a former clothing boutique into the salon space of our dreams. Within a month we had assembled a team of hairstylists and nail technicians, who’s goals and values aligned, and A2 began to flourish.
