Owner and Stylist

April has 24 years of experience behind the chair and has worked as an educator and business owner. April grew up locally and loves her community. She's a wife, mother, and incredible friend.

April is a very well-rounded stylist and offers a wide variety of cutting styles and techniques for the whole family. She loves blonding services and provides mainly evening and Saturday appointments.

Nail Technician

Angelina started her nail career nearly a decade ago, apprenticing under her own nail tech-turned friend. She takes nail health seriously and is always excited to learn about new products and techniques that will allow for beautification while causing the least amount of damage possible.

Angelina loves working with acrylics and playing with nail art but offers a wide variety of services including pedicures.

Stylist

Heather has been part of the industry for 13 years. What started as an interest in makeup artistry lead to a love of hair. She went on to earn her instructing license and also operates a homebased baking business.

Heather offers cuts, perms, and loves doing color work. She's built quite a portfolio of “fashion" color projects. She's also availabe for on-site wedding hair and makeup services.

Nail Technician

Natalie became a nail tech years ago when her friend offered her an apprecenticship opportunity. She was ready for a career change, loved how a fresh set of nails made her feel, and was excited to be able to offer that same feeling to others. She's bubbly and personable making her a great fit for this type of work.

Natalie offers a number of services but loves Shellac as an overlay that will add some strength to your nails without being overly harsh.

Nail Technician

Maegan started her nail journey during quarantine in 2020. While she was unable to see her usual nail tech in her usual salon she began learning how to do the work herself. She's now using it as a way to fund her Masters degree in Psychology.

Maegan does a lot of acrylic work and absolutely loves nail art and designs.

Receptionist and Student

Liberty is currently finishing up her cosmetology program through the Van Buren Technology Center. She's a Mattawan graduate, class of 2025.

For now you'll often see her keeping busy behind the front desk but after licensing she'll be joining the rest of the team preforming hair and nail services.

For the last 26 years, Adam has spent his days working as a mechanic. He enjoys cars, bikes…anything with an engine really. These days, you'll see him around the salon, after his day job, fixing, installing, or just helping out. The salon wouldn't be without Adam. Not only is Adam the 2 in A2 Salon, he and April took a dream and made it into a salon.
